2023 Donations and Recipients list

Asus AMD A6 Laptop donated by Bev P.

This laptop was donated to Ronda O, She will be using it for everyday use and for continuing her writing.

Step 1. DonateCheck your basement, your closet, your garage! If you have a PC, Mac or Laptop that is no longer being used due to age or its state of repair you can recycle it with us. Any data you may still have on the system will be wiped clear. We are looking for computers 10 years old or newer systems for this program.
Step 2. RepairIt does not matter if your system is not working, needs a part or was just too old for your tech needs. We donate our time and any parts required to attempt to put your device back in working condition. Most discarded devices only need a little bit of TLC or a part upgrade to get it working again.
Step 3. ReHome – RecycleOnce we have gone over the system to make sure its in good running condition, We then choose a worthy recipient to donate the newly revived system to free of any charges. Many factors go into the selection process, we go over each applicant, choosing the best fit for the device. If the device is not cost effective to fix, or hard to source a part we then re use parts in future donations.

Stinn Tech Tech Renew Program

Public and Business computer donations for Stinn Tech to Wipe, Repair & Rehome can be dropped off anytime during regular business hours. Weekdays from 9 – 5 at our shop – 509 Centre Street High River. (Stinn Tech) PCs, Laptops, Mac Computers & Monitors 10 years old or newer are the only items currently being accepted for this program.

Don’t have a Computer to donate but still want to contribute to the Tech Renew Program? Click the donation button below and that amount will be put towards any replacement part costs that incur in the process of refurbishing a recycled device. We appreciate your help! Donations will also be noted (with your name if you let us!) in the Recipient list with parts paid for.

Conditions


If you are chosen as a recipient you must agree to the conditions of this program:

  1. You may not resell the unit for a profitable gain. Its being donated to you for the specific needs you require of it.
  2. You agree to take a picture with the unit at the time of donation for online social media use and program promotion. This helps get in more donations & more applicants for future donations.
  3. Your First Name and donated item will be listed on this page, No other peroneal information will be listed.
  4. If you are on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or other social media platforms, a like of my business page(s) and liking and sharing future posts help further the program, you are asked to pay it forward if you are able to, with social media exposure. A review of our business online is also appreciated if you are happy with the experience you receive but is entirely up to you and optional.
